Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

I can't believe this year is coming to an end. It seems like yesterday when I just found out I was pregnant and feeling horrible!!! We had an amazing Christmas this year. We didn't get to do much shopping so we didn't do much decarating here at the house. We really wanted to. The plan was to do lights outside and a tree and well all the Christmas stuff. I am 30 years old and have never in my adult life put up a Christmas tree of my own. I joined the Army right after I graduated from high school and got stationed in Alaska where I lived for 5 years and never once got to come home for Christmas. It was just too depressing for me to try and put a tree up or even really reconize that it was Christmas time. But I always said when I had kids of my own we would do it in style. I never imagined I would have three infants at once and premature where I can't even make it to the grocery store. So I didn't get to do Christmas the exact way I wanted to this year, but I will next year. I sent Brandon shopping today for Christmas stuff next year. He got us a tree, lights, ornaments, and decor for the yard. We WILL have Christmas here next year!

Even though we didn't get to do Christmas at our house this year, we had a wonderful day. We went over to Brandon's parents on Christmans Eve and spent the night there. They always go out for Christmas and they are a joy to be with. One of the best things we got for Christmas was being able to spend time with Brandon's Grandma Gracie. She is 91 years old and our triplets make 32 Great Grandbabies for her. Our babies are a blessing but them being able to spend time with their Great Grandparents are amazing. We also got a suprise on Christmas day, my grandparents decided to make a trip to see us. So we had Great Grandmother Gracie, Great Grandmother LaDeene, and Great Grandpa Dale all join us for Christmas. You know you really can't ask for much more on your babies first Christmas.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas! We will post some pics soon. Have a wonderful new year and may God Bless you all.

There wasn't a tree and a bunch of bright colored lights when Jesus was born. There was only Joseph, Mary, and God's gift to us all, baby Jesus. Sounds to me like you had a perfect Christmas. Great Grandparents, Grandparents, loving Mom & Dad, and 3 blessings from God all celebrating the birth of Jesus and the miracles of the past year. What a day it must have been!
Next year will be sparkles and giggles with 3 little ones squirming all around.
In His Love,
MW
